Sam Ellis, Certified Life Coach

I’m Sam Ellis, a former youth pastor, ministry coach and certified professional life coach. I am dedicated to guiding men of all ages through moments of transition. I studied at the University of Colorado Boulder and furthered my studies with a master’s degree from Talbot Seminary in La Mirada, CA.

My extensive experience spans multiple levels of ministry, including roles as a Pastor in college, high school, junior high, and children’s ministries. I've also spent several years in nonprofit and missions ministries. This diverse background has honed my skills in developing people in over 20 nations, leading teams, and executing kingdom strategies.

During nearly a decade as a Youth Pastor in Laguna Beach, I excelled in speaking courage into young men, building meaningful connections and fostering supportive communities. In 2019, I got the opportunity to go to South Africa to train up leaders, where I contributed to underprivileged communities and met my wife, Rebecca. Despite the challenges of Covid-19, we celebrated our marriage and are now navigating parenthood with our daughter.

My expertise includes youth development, transformation, fostering partnerships, and executing strategic events. I am also skilled in social media, website design, and leveraging these tools to enhance ministry impact.

My coaching approach integrates life planning, ministry vision, strategic development, and priority management, always guided by practical strategies and Biblical principles. Outside of coaching, I enjoy surfing, quality family time, savoring a good cup of coffee, and playing basketball.
